The National Institute of Music and Dance in Poland is pleased to announce the beginning of the last residency for “Dancing Together, Again!“, a creative residency project implemented under the Creative Europe program, in partnership with Arts Research Institute of Georgia in Tbilisi, Movimento Danza in Naples and TRAFIK Dance/Theatre Company in Rijeka.

The residency will take place in Naples, Italy, on March 4-18, 2024.
It will be co-organized by the National Institute of Music and Dance (Poland) and Movimento Danza (Italy).
Its theme will be the inclusivity of dance and performing arts, with particular emphasis on intergenerational and intercultural exchange and the inclusion of people with and without disabilities.
The residency will be curated by Gabriella Stazio.

The twelve participants of residency will work together for choreographic and research activities.
Moreover, they will interact with Movimento Danza community through meetings and talks with local artists and artistic operators.

The final performances of the activities will be held on March 16 and 17 at 6 p.m. at SpazioKörper – Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza.

The main objectives of  “Dancing Together, Again!” project include cultural exchange, interaction between artists, producers and dance researchers with an emphasis on the creative process and integration with local communities.
The previous residencies had taken place in Georgia (between May 29 and June 17, 2023) and Croatia (between September 3 and September 24, 2023).

L’Istituto Nazionale di Musica e Danza in Polonia è lieto di annunciare l’inizio dell’ultima residenza per “Dancing Together, Again!“, un progetto di residenze creative realizzato nell’ambito del programma “Europa Creativa”, in collaborazione con l’Arts Research Institute of Georgia di Tbilisi, Movimento Danza di Napoli e TRAFIK Dance/Theatre Company di Rijeka.

La residenza si svolgerà a Napoli, in Italia, dal 4 al 18 marzo 2024.
Le attività sono co-organizzate dall’Istituto Nazionale di Musica e Danza (Polonia) e da Movimento Danza (Italia).
Il tema sarà l’inclusività della danza e delle arti performative, con particolare attenzione allo scambio intergenerazionale e interculturale e all’inclusione di persone con e senza disabilità.

I dodici partecipanti alla residenza lavoreranno insieme per attività coreografiche e di ricerca.
Inoltre, interagiranno con la comunità di Movimento Danza attraverso incontri e colloqui con artisti e operatori artistici locali.

Le performance finali delle attività si terranno il 16 e il 17 marzo, ore 18.00, presso lo SpazioKörper – Centro Nazionale di Produzione della Danza.
Gli obiettivi principali del progetto “Dancing Together, Again!” comprendono lo scambio culturale e l’interazione tra artisti, produttori e ricercatori di danza, con particolare attenzione al processo creativo e all’integrazione con le comunità locali.
Le precedenti residenze si sono svolte in Georgia (tra il 29 maggio e il 17 giugno 2023) e in Croazia (tra il 3 e il 24 settembre 2023).
