Il duo artistico casagrande // giorgini nasce nel 2019 fondato da Marco Casagrande e Nicolò Giorgini.
Marco si laurea all’Accademia Nazionale di Danza, mentre Nicolò è diplomato alla Civica Scuola di Teatro Paolo Grassi.
Il loro primo lavoro “CUM- LAEDERE” debutta a “Resid’And” dell’Accademia Nazionale di Danza.
Marco è finalista di “Residanza 2020” con “PRIVATE RITE – something is growing” mentre i lavori di Nicolò sono selezionati per “Nuove Traiettorie XL”, “Strabismi Festival”, “Dominio Pubblico”, “Premio Interfaccia Digitale”.
Partecipano a “Dancescapes – in a Landscape” dell’Associazione Danza Urbana, iniziando la ricerca del progetto “DOT”.
Attualmente fanno parte del percorso “Incubatore per futur* coreograf*” del C.I.M.D. e sono sostenuti da CodedUomo di Daniele Ninarello.

DOT
“[…] I ritmi creano lo spazio e il tempo, almeno per il soggetto; spazio e tempo non esistono, non sono vissuti, se non in quanto materializzati entro un rivestimento ritmico […] ” – Il gesto e la parola – Andre Leroi – Gourhan.
Il progetto DOT parte dalla volontà di sviluppare una regione dello spazio-tempo “isolata” dal resto, all’interno della quale tutto viene catturato.
DOT è un punto da cui niente e nessuno può tornare. Si connota come un ecosistema a sé stante governato da leggi proprie con un proprio moto ed un proprio tempo, variabile a seconda delle condizioni determinate dalla relazione con i soggetti.
È un ascolto continuo, un dialogo che tenta di mantenere l’equilibrio dei due corpi. Nell’incessante modificazione dello spazio e del tempo tentano di trovare il loro bilanciamento e la giusta collocazione nell’ecosistema mutevole che li circonda.
Come in un buco nero non vi è un segno di demarcazione tra dentro e fuori, il disorientamento è totale e imperscrutabile, il niente è la cosa peggiore che si potrà incontrare.
Fondamentale è il concetto: “la mia scelta è la tua scelta”, che va presa continuamente per ricercare quell’equilibrio – sempre più precario – tra i corpi e il paesaggio.
Ora chiudi gli occhi: sei nel vuoto. Puoi liberarti di più punti di riferimento, anzi puoi togliere tutti i punti di riferimento, questo è il tuo vantaggio: DOT è l’orizzonte oltre il quale non si vede.

DOT starts from a desire to establish a region of space-time ‘isolated’ from the rest, within which everything is caught.
DOT is a point from which nothing and no one may return. It identifies itself as an ecosystem in its own right ruled by its own laws with its own motion and time, varying according to the conditions determined by the relationship between the subjects and the surrounding space.
It is a constant listening, a dialogue that attempts to preserve the balance of the overall environment.
In the relentless alteration of space and time, the bodies try to find their balance and their rightful place in the changing ecosystem that encircles them.
As in a black hole there is no distinguishing line between within and outside, the bewilderment is total and inscrutable, the nothingness is the worst thing you will ever experience.
Essential is the concept, “my choice is your choice,” which must be taken continuously in order to seek that balance- increasingly precarious – between bodies and landscape.
Now close your eyes: you are in the void. You can get rid of more points of reference, in fact you can remove all points of reference, that is your advantage: DOT is the horizon beyond which you cannot see.
