Danzatore, coreografo e video maker di Ceglie Messapica (BR), nato nel 1991.
Percorre la sua strada nel mondo dell’arte coreutica alla ricerca della contaminazione tra danza, video e realtà. La sua idea di danza viene apprezzata in diversi ambiti e il WORLD DANCE FESTIVAL lo premia come miglior coreografo e il 2018 gli regala la firma della sua prima opera coreografica: SOQQUADRO.
Impegnato in vari progetti artistici come coreografo ed insegnante, cerca di trasmettere ai suoi allievi la potenza dell’interpretazione personale affinché ognuno possa esprimere al meglio la propria anima. Direttore artistico di ART MOVE, dal 2019 danza per la AlphaZTL Compagnia d’arte Dinamica.
A marzo 2021 è coreografo ospite in residenza per la AlphaZTL con “Perfect Illusion” con tema i disturbi alimentari: anoressia e bulimia.
La residenza fa parte del progetto A.R.E.A: Mediterranea, la prima residenza coreografica in Puglia finanziata dalla Regione Puglia, Ministero della Cultura, Piil Cultura in collaborazione con Residenza Artistiche, Logica e Teatro Pubblico Pugliese. Nel 2021 è coreografo selezionato per Nuove Traiettorie, vetrina della giovane danza d’autore di Anticorpi XL.

He travels his way in the world of choreographic art in search of contamination between dance, video and reality. His idea of dance is appreciated in different areas and the WORLD DANCE FESTI-VAL awards him as best choreographer and 2018 gives him the signature of his first choreographic work SOOOUADRO.
Engaged in various artistic projects as a choreographer and teacher, he tries to transmit to his students the power of personal interpretation so that everyone can express their soul at its best.
Artistic director of ART MOVE and SOQQUADRO dance company, since 2019 he has been dancing for AlphaZTL Dynamic Art Company.
In March 2O21 he is guest choreographer in residence for AlphaZTL with “Perfect illusion” with the theme of eating disorders: anorexia and bulimia. The residency is part of the project A.R.E.A: Mediterranea, the first choreographic residency in Apulia funded by Regione Puglia, Ministry of Culture, Piil Cultura in collaboration with Residenza Artistiche, Logica and Teatro Pubblico Pugliese. In 2021 he is also among the authors of Nuove Traiettorie XL of the Anticorpi network.
Perfect illusion
“Perfect illusion” è una storia che ne racchiude tante, troppe, sui disturbi alimentari: bulimia o anoressia.
Rappresenta un contatto con queste realtà nascoste ai nostri sguardi ma che sono presenti nella vita di molti e forse non lo sappiamo.
La messa in scena scava a fondo nella complessità della tematica, ne evidenzia i momenti chiave o vuole restituire a chi assiste tutta l’angoscia che si prova pensando di voler raggiungere una perfezione fisica, ai propri occhi, di fronte ad uno specchio che non riflette ma che proietta una immagine di sé… L’ ossessione man mano prende forma e si fa sempre più presente.
Ossessione per il cibo, per i centimetri di troppo, per il controllo.
Racconta le verità celate e la visione distorta di un corpo che si dimena, stremato dalla battaglia con sé stesso.
Accendiamo una luce nella contrapposizione tra ciò che una persona affetta da disturbi alimentari crode di vedere di sé e ciò che realmente è agli occhi di tutti.
In scena c’è solo un danzatore che rigetta un malessere interiore e violento e che dà voce a un dramma silenzioso, soffocato dai sensi di colpa.
Un viaggio intimo, sordo, nel dolore e nella fragilità di un’illusione perfetta.
“Perfect illusion” is a story that contains many, too many, about eating disorders: bulimia and anorexia. It represents a contact with these realities hidden to our eyes but that are present in the lives of many and maybe we don’t know it.
The staging digs deep into the complexity of the issue, highlights the key moments and wants to return to those who attend all the anguish that you feel thinking you want to achieve physical perfection, in their eyes, in front of a mirror that does not reflect but that projects an image of himself… The obsession gradually takes shape and becomes more and more present. Obsession for food, for the extra inches, for control.
It tells the hidden truths and the distorted vision of a body that struggles, exhausted by the battle with itself.
Wa shine a lit on the contrast between what a person with an eating disorder thinks they see of themselves and what they really are in the eyes of everyone.
On stage there is only one dancer who rejects an inner, violent malaise and gives voice to a silent drama, suffocated by guilt.
